CGI (Computer-generated imagery) revolutionized animation, the first animated feature film was Toy Story, the process of undergoing this style of animation is still quite tedious just as traditional animations are, as they are very similar in there principles.
another style of non-photorealistic rendering is called cel shading (one of the rendering methods i employed into my project) it is often used to create a hand-drawn appearance.
